This award-winning game challenges players to create a bona-fide sentence
from letter cards while playing against time, action cards, and the judgment
of other players. All the while, they are protecting sentences and points
from being stolen by opponents. In Sentence Says, you roll the die to determine
how many letter cards you will receive as well as how much time you will get to
create your sentence. Then draw an action card to get your sentence instruction.
Quick, the timer has started! What will your sentence say? Each letter
begins any word of your choice and the cards can be arranged in any order.
For the letters M, D, I, R, V and C, you could create the sentence
"My Dog Is Really Very Cute" or hundreds of other possible sentences!
Opponents judge a winning sentence and can steal it and your points if
you're not careful. The first player to reach 100 points wins the game.
What's beneficial about Sentence Says is that it gives everyone a chance
to learn at the pace that best suits them - regardless of skill level. As language
skills continue to develop, players' sentences will become more complicated and creative.
