New for 2004, The Fightball Button Men set is a colorful, entertaining, and wonderfully simple introductory set for this fun dice game. Fightball Button Men use normal dice and work by the Take Five rule: even though a character has seven or eight dice, you only get to use five of them in a single combat. An attractive and well-balanced set. This set includes 5 Character Buttons: Tex, Roqc, Skinny, Georgia & Brie Dice are not included. Click here to find where you can get polyhedral dice. In April of 1999, James Ernest and Cheapass Games released the first collection Button Men. It is a simple, but strategic, dice game with characters depicted on pin-back buttons. In the years following, the list of characters has grown by the hundreds. Buttonmen is easy to learn, easy to store and carry, and quick to play. To play, each player needs one of the character buttons and the polyhedral dice listed on the button. The players fight several rounds of comba, rolling dice and capturing their opponent's dice. The player that captures the most 'sides' from the opponent while keeping more of his/her own wins the round. The player who wins 3 rounds, wins the game. The Dice: Each character is composed of several dice of different sizes, between 4 and 20 sides, as specified by the numbers on that button. As a general rule, small dice mean speed and large dice mean strength Simple & Fun...yet, highly Strategic Read More on Button Men Strategy at the Button Men Fan Pages |
